Building community both on-Air and off

Whether a long-time Christian, or someone still searching for Jesus, WCSG is intentional about providing a place where people feel supported in their walk with Christ. In addition to being a source of encouragement on the radio, we are committed to empowering each other with opportunities to actively live out our faith. Here are some of the ways we are partnering with you and area organizations to be the light of Christ in our community:

Loving our neighbors by collecting the supplies they need

Twice per year we host Community Connection Drives where we invite the community to help us restock the shelves and closets of area shelters, food pantries, and other ministries that support people and families facing challenging circumstances. Equipping students for the future through JA BizTown

In winter 2025, WCSG, in collaboration with Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes, launched their new radio storefront in JA BizTown. Through this unique program, elementary students across West Michigan oversee and operate a simulated WCSG studio where they can develop work and career readiness skills outside of the traditional classroom. 

Being hands and feet across the globe

Every year we invite listeners to pour into kids across the world through special drives and campaigns to support international relief organizations. For over 15 years WCSG has partnered with Orphan Outreach to support vulnerable children across the world; a relationship that to-date has culminated in 550 listeners joining us to travel abroad for mission work and over 827 individual child sponsorships.
