Ukraine leaders say forces have retaken a suburb of the capitol. Other cities see intense fighting.

The Mayor of a suburb of Kyiv says Russian forces have been pushed out of their city.  No independent sources have verified this announcement.  Meanwhile, fighting has intensified around Lviv.

It comes after UN leaders met to discuss the possibility of a humanitarian cease fire in the war.  The idea is to allow humanitarian aid to reach civilians who are still in cities where fighting is fiercest.  The delivery of food and medicine is an effort to prevent any further loss of life due to hunger or disease.  No word on when both sides will agree to meet again.

International outcry is now sounding after video evidence has turned up showing both sides have been allegedly mistreating prisoners.  A UN investigation has begun after videos show soldiers harming soldiers who appear to have surrendered.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
