The company will invest close to four billion dollars in plants in Michigan and the Midwest.

Ford Motor plans to invest 3.7 billion dollars and create 62-hundred new jobs at plants in Michigan and the Midwest.

Kumar Galhotra, President of Ford Blue says Michigan plants will see the majority of jobs added and on some of the more advanced vehicles.
“We’re investing and creating jobs to build the next generation of the Mustang at Flat Rock Assembly plant; the all new Ranger Pickup at Michigan Assembly plant and we’re going to build a lot more F-150 Lightning trucks at the Rouge Electric Center.”

Galhotra also says the company will spend one billion dollars to improve working environments at their plants.  That include upgrades to security, facility spaces, and food service.

The company has been making additions to their manufacturing by adding plants in several states, adding shifts, and making advancements in green energy.  Some of those moves have upset Michigan leaders who were trying to lure jobs to the state.

As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.
