A judge this afternoon signed off on the $626 million dollar settlement between 10's of thousands of residents and the state.
Just this afternoon, a judge has given final approval to a 626 million dollar settlement in the Flint Water Crisis. The judge earlier this year offered her opinion on the settlement reached between families affected by lead in the water for year and the state. Lawyers for families say the settlement offers only a small amount of justice to families and children affected by lead in the water. The ruling will offer more money to children who suffered more during the years water was running through lead pipes.
