The Michigan House as approved more pandemic grants for businesses that are trying to recover following the pandemic.

LANSING, Mich. — A number of state businesses are still trying to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.  So many businesses had to be closed and when they did re-open many have been short-staffed.

A spending bill would provide another round of proposed grants that would go to help gyms, movie theaters, live music and entertainment venues, convention bureaus and community development banks.

This comes more than a month after the Legislature and Gov. Whitmer enacted $409 million in aid for businesses that lost money. Applications for those grants are due by April 1 and must be disbursed by July 1.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
