8/25/21 - High Heat Forces Half-Day

Expected high temperatures are forcing the GRPS to call for a half-day.

Due to heat conditions, all GRPS schools will be half-day on Thursday, August 26.

Temperatures have been in the 90's and a lack of air conditioning at many of the facilities has prompted the decision.

The half-day bell times are available on the district's website at www.grps.org under News and Events.

Athletic practices and games will continue as planned with their normal schedules, and will operate under the MHSAA Heat Advisory Protocol.
