There were three major motorcycle crashes in West Michigan over the weekend and one of them claimed the life of the driver.
Authorities responded to two motorcycle accidents in the South Have area Saturday night. The first took place on the expressway ramp at M-140 when the driver left the roadway. the second occurred on Phoenix Road, when the motorcycle collided with a car and the driver died at the scene.
A 71-year-old man from Holland was injured when a motorcycle and car collided in Holland Township. It took place along US-31 at James Street. The motorcycle was slowing for an ambulance when it was rear-ended by a vehicle. The driver said they didn't see the ambulance approaching or the motorcycle.
