Crews were called to the Dutch Village in Holland after fire was spotted coming from a barn.

HOLLAND, Mich. — An overnight fire has destroyed a barn at the historic Nelis' Dutch Village in Holland.

The fire was spotted shortly after 12:30 a.m. Thursday and by the time firefighters got there, the barn was fully involved.

It took crews around 45 minutes to knock down the fire.

The barn housed several animals and some of them lost their lives.

The Village is open but crews will continue to clean up in the area impacted by the barn fire.

Encouraging Words From Your Bible

Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
