Hurricane Debby made landfall this morning in northern Florida and the slow moving system will bring heavy rain and flooding and power outages.

(FLORIDA) - Hurricane Debby made landfall this morning in the Big Bend area of northern Florida.

This is a slow moving system and forecasters say it could bring up to 30 inches of rain.

Storm surge, high wind gusts, and heavy rain are all part of this system.

There are tornado warnings today and into tomorrow stretching into the Carolina's.

There are already over 200,000 power outages in Florida. With strong winds and flooding expected to affect much of the state, as well as Georgia and South Carolina, this number is set to rise.

A number of airline flights have been cancelled because of the hurricane.
