The new laws address issues with road construction crews.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer has signed six new bills into law regarding Michigan roads.
The bills mostly focus on construction worker safety, by cover electronic speed enforcement cameras as well as making clear the stipulations of using such electronic equipment.
The new laws will increase enforcement and clarify the use of the surveillance equipment, when it can be used, and how it is to be set up.
The bills passed the Michigan legislature with bi-partisan support.
