The first of two gubernatorial debates is taking place tonight in Grand Rapids.
The General Election is just weeks away. One of the biggest issues on the ballot in Michigan is the Governor's race.
Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer is facing Republican challenger Tudor Dixon. Whitmer is seeking her second term as Governor.
Dixon is a former commentator for a conservative online program.
There are two Gubernatorial Debates scheduled:
-One tonight, 7pm in Grand Rapids
-A second on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Oakland Univ. in Rochester.
Also on Oct. 21st, both will answer questions from an audience at the Detroit Economic Club.
