Valentine's Luminary Evening

Take a romantic evening hike on a lantern-lit trail with your loved one. Listen to the crunch of snow, maybe the hoot of owls, and the sweet whispers of the wind in your ear while you experience the magic of winter in Michigan. The self-guided luminary walk is for all experience levels. After your walk, warm yourself by the fire pit or in our historic Schoolhouse while you enjoy wine, hard cider, or hot cocoa and chocolates. Beverages are not included in the ticket price but will be available for purchase! In the event of sufficient snow, a limited number of snowshoes will be available to rent the evening of the program for $6 per pair. You are also welcome to bring your own snowshoes, if you have them.

This is an open-house style program. You may arrive at anytime between 6-8 pm, but please note the evening will wrap up at 8 pm. Plan on spending at least an hour to enjoy a beverage by the fire and walk the lantern-lit trail.

Note: This program is for adults ages 18 and up. Anyone purchasing alcoholic beverages must show photo ID. This program will take place mostly outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Bathrooms are available indoors. In the event of severe weather, this program will be cancelled, and participants will be notified of their refund options and/or a possible makeup date.

Cancellation Policy: Notice must be received at least 7 days before the scheduled program to receive a 50% refund. Due to processing fees, full refunds are not available. There will be no refunds issued within 7 days of the program. All Community Programs will be held unless there is severe weather, as determined by Blandford and the program guide. If a program is cancelled due to severe weather you will receive a full registration refund or the option to transfer your registration to a future program. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather, when you have been contacted that the program has been cancelled.
