Sweet Immunity Herb Walk

Join herbalist Camilla Voelker of A Season of Wellness to explore the trails and ecosystems of Blandford as you learn to identify plants commonly used in Western Herbalism. We’ll talk about the plants in their peak harvesting time as we head into fall and introduce you to ways to incorporate them into your own health and wellness routines. This time of year we often see herbs that support the immune system – coincidence? Not at all! Come learn about these special plants! Samples and tastings will be provided. Please note that this class is for educational purposes only, and we will not be harvesting plants from this walk.

This hike will likely cover less than 1 mile of trails. Prepare for trail conditions and being in the sun. You are welcome to bring water and snacks.

About the Instructor: Camilla Voelker is a clinical herbalist, certified health and wellness coach and nutritionist. Combining her passion for ecology and wellness, through classes and one-on-one consultations, Camilla invites people to welcome nature into their wellness practices.

Note: This program is recommended for adults and teens ages 13 and up. Pre-registration is required due to limited capacity. Online registration closes at noon on the day of the program. If the program sells out, you may complete your online registration to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available. This program will take place indoors.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests received at least 7 days before the scheduled program are eligible for a 50% refund of the total registration cost, not including the credit card processing fee. Due to administration costs, full refunds are not available. Cancellation requests received within 7 days of a program are not eligible for a refund. In the event that Blandford must cancel the program, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a refund. All community programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
