Ken Medema is an American composer, singer-songwriter, and pianist renowned for his improvisational performances that blend storytelling with music. Blind from birth, he studied music therapy at Michigan State University and began his career writing songs inspired by his patients’ lives. Since 1973 he has performed worldwide, founded Brier Patch Music in 1985, and released over 25 albums, often addressing themes of faith, justice, and inclusion.
