First, tobyMac joined Josiah Queen for his take on “Jesus Freak” which is captured within a country acoustic vibe.

Regarding the collaboration, Josiah shared that “Jesus Freak” was his favorite childhood song and that “dropping this was a dream come true!”

Second, tobyMac brought in Forrest Frank to help with a new version of “Heaven on My Mind”. Forrest has been a major player with his arena tour selling out multiple cities, including Grand Rapids.

The two collaborations definitely prove that tobyMac isn’t solely interested in being a creator of music, but also being a mentor and champion for the next generation of voices.

He released a series of American Sign Language performance videos for his album, "The Ache". Several years ago, a fan reached out to him with sign language interpretations of some of his songs.

It was this experience that inspired Brandon to team up with American Sign Language experts to record and release a series of ASL performance videos for his latest album, “The Ache”.

The deaf community is one of the top three largest unreached people which is typically a result of the communication barrier. In fact, there is only one complete ASL Bible…and since sign language is NOT universal, versions need to be created in every language.

If you are interested in checking out the video series, or you know someone that would benefit from them, Brandon Heath has shared them on YouTube.
